Christine Figgener
Christine Figgener holds a PhD from Texas A&M in the trophic and movement ecology of sea turtles. She is a Time magazine Next Generation Leader and her research and advocacy efforts have been featured in the BBC and National Geographic. Currently, she leads research projects in Costa Rica dedicated to empowering local conservation initiatives, with an emphasis on the role of women.
