Claire Cameron

Claire Cameron is the author of multiple bestselling and award-winning books, including How to Survive a Bear Attack: A Memoir and The Last Neanderthal. Claire has led canoe trips in Algonquin Park and worked as an instructor for Outward Bound, teaching mountaineering, climbing, and whitewater rafting in Oregon and beyond. Her writing has appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Times, and The Guardian, and she is a monthly contributor to The Globe and Mail. She lives in Toronto.
