George Church
George Church is the Robert Winthrop Professor of Genetics at Harvard Medical School, where his lab is trying to recreate the woolly mammoth using gene-editing techniques. He is also the author, with Ed Regis, of Regenesis: How Synthetic Biology Will Reinvent Nature and Ourselves. He lives in Boston.
