Naheed Nenshi
Naheed Kurban Nenshi is a Canadian politician who is the 36th mayor of Calgary, Alberta. He was elected in the 2010 municipal election, first Muslim mayor of a large North American city. He was re-elected in 2013. He was educated at the University of Calgary, serving as President of the Students' Union and receiving a Bachelor of Commerce in 1993, and completed a Master of Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University in 1998.
