Sonny McHalsie
Naxaxalhts’i Albert “Sonny" McHalsie is the Cultural Advisor / Sxweyxwiyam (Historian) at Stó:lō Research and Resource Management Centre, Stó:lō Nation, in Chilliwack, B.C. He is treasured for his work to preserve and transmit Stó:lō culture, heritage, and history. He is also a co-author of the Stó:lō–Coast Salish Historical Atlas and is called upon often to teach and advise in all the Stó:lō communities and organizations.
