Peter Wohlleben, author of The Hidden Life of Trees (coming to Canada and the United States Fall 2016) was featured in a New York Times Saturday Profile by Sally McGrane.
McGrane writes that “the matter-of-fact Mr. Wohlleben has delighted readers and talk-show audiences alike with the news — long known to biologists — that trees in the forest are social beings.” Wohlleben explains in his book that trees communicate, warn one another of danger, and care for their young and the sick.
